Macros & Tripods
by: Anonymous

Lovely colour in this flower. May I suggest that you shoot macros with your camera on a tripod. It's almost impossible to get really good focus handholding the camera for flower MACRO photography.

I also find that increasing the mid-tones very, very slightly in editing, tends to help the focus. It's a fine line in editing flower shots. Sometimes, just the tiniest 'tweaks' in contrast, colour, tone & reducing shadows can make all the difference. I find white, red and bright pink flowers (in particular) photograph better at dusk when the sun doesn't reflect on the petals.

good color

the colors really shine. This is a very good capture, thank you. I love Hibiscus, although yellow and peach are favorite colors, this is really good.
