Wren's Babys

Wren's Babys

I had a small bucket of potting soil on my porch. one day I found that a bird nest was being built there, so I decided not to disturb it and watch. First the nest, then five eggs(one day at a time) now there are baby birds. The mother is a Wren.

Nicely done
by: Meanie

Photos of baby birds are like photos of flowers, nudes or sunsets, all overdone. Therefore you have to have an exceptional photo to stand out. I think you did it. The DOF is just right, the photo did not come out flat. The eyes are crisp and the lighting came out just right. The photo is not washed out with inproper use of the flash. Your timing is perfect with the one bird begging and the others asleep, you could title this "You snooze you loose". Good job.
