Hi Jim, Lovely dog. Yes that hour before the sun goes down in my favourite light of the day. It is known as the Golden Hour and it bathes everything with a soft warm toned, low angled light that enhances anything it touches. I have some outdoor portraits of my daughter that were taken in this type of lighting condition that I love. Thanks for reminding me to write a page about the Golden Hour. :) As you are lucky enough to get this light in your garden every day, why not have another try at capturing Sadie, if she is obliging? See if you can get a lighter area behind her so that she stands out from the background, although this is a good photograph it would be improved if you were able to do this. Some of her black fur is tending to disappear a little here. Thanks for submitting your photo and I hope to see more of this gorgeous dog. Do you know what breed she is?
